Candlelight Concert

The soft glow of candlelight sets the mood for a concert featuring festive music for trumpets as well as Bach’s Goldberg Variations, arranged brilliantly for strings. 
Our proud tradition of showcasing our own talented musicians as soloists for these performances continues in to energetic concertos by Vivaldi!

A Mozart Paradise

Our namesake composer takes the spotlight in this all-Mozart getaway! We welcome longtime friend of OMP, pianist Anton Nel, back to the stage for a performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 18, 
and OMP’s wind section plays a starring role in the revered “Gran Partita”

We’re celebrating Beethoven’s 250th anniversary with his dramatic Coriolan Overture as well as his monumental, programmatic Pastoral Symphony. 
Violin virtuoso and brilliant bluegrass fiddler Tessa Lark is also featured in Michael Torke’s Sky, a concerto for which OMP is proud to be a member for the commissioning consortium.

Taking Flight

A set of optimistic and confident marches by Mozart performed with members of the Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestra as part of our educational partnership opens our season 
finale before the winners of our annual Young Soloist Competition dazzle with their winning concertos. A symphony by the “Spanish Mozart” completes our season on a hopeful note.
