When the Hult Center opened in 1982, the first ballet performed on its stage was Eugene Ballet’s The Firebird. In homage to that occasion and in celebration of Eugene Ballet’s 40 years of creating incredible dance, Suzanne Haag presents an all new vision of this iconic ballet. Witness life being raised from the ashes with the power of Stravinsky’s score in this futuristic retelling of the classic fairytale.
Presented by Eugene Ballet and University of Oregon, Dance Department
Interplay is a collaborative performance event between the Eugene Ballet and the University of Oregon, Dance Department. The idea behind Interplay is not only to work collaboratively with dancers and choreographers from both organizations but to give both our audiences an opportunity to experience dance in the “up close” environment of the Soreng Theater at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
Presented by Eugene Ballet
