Cap’n Trips begin their 17th year together with a tribute concert to legendary Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh on Friday January 3rd at Eugenes Wow Hall. Trips will be reunited with their original guitar virtuoso Anthony Forcellini.Eugenes first Jerry Garcia tribute band, Trips was formed in 2008 by Tom Lemmon (guitar, vocals), Trey Longstreth (bass, vocals), Marcy Andrews (mandolin), and Anthony (guitar, vocals), and later added Ken Sokolove (drums), and Sean Jackson (keyboards, vocals).They have played festivals throughout Oregon, including 3 times at the Oregon Country Fair. Come and celebrate Phil’s amazing life in an unbroken chain of great music.
